The piece was created after my Erasmus experience
in Helsinki.
As an enthusiastic photographer of his/her model, that narrates his visual excitment through pictures, I tried to tell my story
with this composition.
Small scenes of the past between the city centre and the snowy countryside.
I wanted it to be at a walking rhythm,
and therefore an entirely human time, simple, but effective.
All the sounds are part of the recordings I made
in various parts of Helsinki, with a portable recorder.
It has been a short path, spontaneous and liberating.

Il pezzo nasce dopo l' esperienza Erasmus
effettuata ad Helsinki dal 29 agosto al 19 dicembre 2010.
Come un fotografo entusiasta della sua modella, racconta tramite le foto
ciò che sono le sue emozioni visive, io ho cercato di raccontare la mia storia
con questo pezzo.
Piccole scene del tempo passato tra la città e la campagna innevata.
Volevo che avesse il ritmo della camminata,
e perciò un tempo del tutto umano.
E desideravo che fosse semplice, ma efficace.
Tutti i suoni fanno parte di registrazioni effettuate
in varie parti di Helsinki, con un semplice registratore portatile.
Una volta deciso di fare il pezzo
ho cercato di scegliere i suoni che mi convincevano
maggiormente, li ho elaborati e montati.
Non è stato un percorso lungo,
ma spontaneo e liberatorio.
